Some reflective comments here- what was hard about the 180 degree rule and how did you overcome it?

Our task was to create a short piece of film that HAD to include certain camera angles and shots. This aspect of the task the whole group found rather easy, and we did it with ease. However we struggled with the 180 degree rule when filming, but managed to conquer it in the end. I have learnt from this task that before rushing off to film, it is important to make a detailed plan of what we are going to film, as I felt as a group we rushed off to do a video. As it happens the first video we made we didn't use at all due to rushing.
